The YWCA of Northcentral PA targeted energy reduction as the primary method to continue to provide needed community services at an affordable price. The Union County Housing Authority also targets energy efficiency to provide premium housing that promises affordable operating costs. Both are models of excellence for our region.
Meg Finnand Lawrence Huber will describe the retrofits and financing considerations required to affordably preserve services within its historic 80 year-old building in downtown Williamsport.
Jere Engleand the development team will describe the Union County Housing Authority’s Energy Efficient Housing projects focused on reducing home energy costs through new construction and retrofitting using conventional building materials and a collaborative design process.
