Web Communications Associate

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Gather and write content for the ACI e-newsletter.
• Redesign and maintain the ACI website.
• Update and maintain the content on the 1000HomeChallenge.org website.
• Assist with the expansion and maintenance of ACI’s media and stakeholder
contact database.
• Assist with the development and management of new content outlets, including
social media (twitter and facebook), blogs, podcasts, webcasts, etc.

SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES
• Computer skills include web CMS software, Microsoft Office, basic HTML.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail - ability to work on multiple
projects, meet deadlines and work well under pressure
• Ability to work well with people and sufficiently understand the business and
communication processes.
• Creative and innovative approach to problem resolution.
• Strong marketing and public relations knowledge and skills.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prepare timely and effective reports and communications.
• Commitment to the overall sustainability of ACI and its mission.
• Availability and willingness to travel.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor’s degree in journalism, public relations, communications or related field.
• A minimum of five (5) years of experience in interactive communications,
including online editing and content management, blogs, social media (twitter
and facebook), and e-newsletters.
• Project management experience.
