Small Business Advantage Grants

Small Business Advantage is a recurring grant program providing 50 percent matching grants, up to a maximum of $7,500.00, to enable a Pennsylvania small business to adopt or acquire energy efficient or pollution prevention equipment or processes. For more information click here.

 

Small Business Pollution Prevention Assistance Account (PPAA) Loan Program

The PPAA loan program provides low interest loans to small businesses within Pennsylvania undertaking projects that reduce waste, pollution, or energy use.

 

Small Business Energy Efficiency Grant Program.

This program was established part of Gov. Edward G. Rendell's Energy Independence Strategy, provides a 25 percent reimbursement grant, up to a maximum of $25,000, to enable Pennsylvania small businesses to acquire certain pieces of equipment or adopt certain processes that promote energy efficiency. To qualify the business must have 100 employees or less. The reimbursement grants can be applied toward the cost of purchasing and installing numerous energy efficient items and systems, including geothermal heat pumps; energy efficient HVAC, lighting, and refrigeration systems; insulation and air sealing projects; etc. For more information on the program click here.
