PECO programs

In response to Act 129, Peco has implemented energy efficiency programs dedicating over $50 million dollars to programs and products that increase energy efficiency. In addition, Peco has also enhanced low-income assistance with discounted residential rates and increased consumer education on conservation and energy efficiency.

For residential users, Peco offers appliance recycling and rebates on Energy Star heating, cooling, and appliances, tools to find CFL discounts, rebates on Energy Star high-efficiency gas furnace, boiler or water heater installations. In addition, the PECO Smart A/C Saver program offers residents A/C system a free installation of a small device which cycles during high energy usage periods increasing conservation. For businesses, Peco offers PECO offers financial incentives for retrofits that incorporate energy efficient measures for all major end uses. In addition, Peco provides a Energy Star furnace upgrade rebate program, and a Smart A/C program for Businesses. More information can be found here.
