Allegheny Power programs

In response to Act 129, Allegheny received approval for energy efficiency programs for residential, commercial and industrial customers. This program, known as the Watt Watchers Program, focuses on helping consumers use electricity efficiently, curb consumption and reduce overall demand for electricity.
 
The Watt Watchers Rebate Program offers consumers rebates on the purchase of an energy-efficient dishwasher, clothes washer, clothes dryer, refrigerator, freezer, new room air conditioner, central air conditioner, heat pump, and CFL light bulbs. For more information click here.
 
The Watt Watchers Home Performance Program provides residential customers an online Home Performance Program to help identify the best ways to make a customers home more energy-efficient. After completing the program, participants also receive a reward of four CFLs. To access the program click here.
 
The Watt Watchers Low-Income Home Performance Program provides energy efficiency packages, home energy check-ups, and weatherization services to low-income customers. At no cost, the program provides energy conservation education, insulation, energy-efficient lighting, electric water heater repair/replacement, and air infiltration reduction. For more information click here.
