Focus on Energy Efficiency

While Washington continues to debate the way forward on climate and energy policy, major corporations are moving ahead with a surge of environmental committments. As companies act on these commitments, energy efficiency has emerged as a key strategy.

Please join us in Chicago, April 6-7 for the Pew Center on Global Climate Change's corporate energy efficiency conference, where we will release our comprehensive report: "From Shop Floor to Top Floor: Best Business Practices in Energy Efficiency."

The conference will give participants an opportunity to learn from and interact with experts and high-level industry executives that have successfully implemented exemplary energy efficiency strategies. Among the topics that will be addressed are:

  • Emerging issues in corporate energy efficiency;
  • Overcoming barriers, including capital constraints and organizational disconnects;
  • The role of employees and senior management in energy efficiency;
  • Managing energy data in large corporations; and
  • Communicating with consumers and avoiding greenwashing.
