Database of State Incentives for Renewable and Efficiency (DSIRE)

DSIRE is a comprehensive source of information on state, local, utility and federal incentives and policies that promote renewable energy and energy efficiency. Funded by the U.S. Department of Energy, DSIRE is an ongoing project which provides an interactive map and comprehensive list of rebates and programs.

Home Energy Rebate Guide

This Home Energy Rebate Guide provides a comprehensive guide on Federal and State sponsored rebates, as well as PECO rebates on products including heat pumps, water heaters, window, doors, and skylights. These rebates can be combined!

Customer Assistance Referral and Evaluation Program (CARES) + Customer Assistance Program (CAP)

The CARES program helps customers with special needs.including customers who are experiencing family emergencies, divorce, unemployment, or medical emergencies. The goal is to provide support and direction to help customers pay their utility bills. Each company has CARES representatives. For more information contact your utility company.
 

Low-Income Usage Reduction Program (LIURP)

LIURP helps low-income residential customers lower the amount of electricity or natural gas used each month through energy saving tools provided by electric companies.  For more information contact your electric and gas provider.
 

Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP)

LIHEAP is a federal program that provides financial assistance to low-income households for home energy bills. In Pennsylvania, the Department of Public Welfare oversees the LIHEAP program. The LIHEAP program provides both cash and crisis benefits to low-income households.

Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP) for low-income families

The Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP) enables low-income families to permanently reduce their energy bills by making their homes more energy efficient. The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) provides funding to states which fund a network of local community action agencies, nonprofit organizations, and local governments that provide these weatherization services.
 

PPL Electric programs

In accordance with Act 129, PPL Electric Utilities has created an energy efficiency and conservation plan offering residential, small business, commercial and industrial, and institutions energy efficiency programs, tools, incentives and rebates.

 

Allegheny Power programs

In response to Act 129, Allegheny received approval for energy efficiency programs for residential, commercial and industrial customers.
