The North Penn School District hosted their first annual PowerSave for Earth Day event.  This event is a copulation of ideas developed during our Alliance to Save Energy’s PowerSave Schools Program mid-year meeting.  Which included activities such as:

Schools throughout the North Penn School District will participate in events and activities for Earth Day on Monday, April 22. Various activities and Earth Day lessons that schools are planning include special Earth Day morning announcements, wearing green, teaching lessons about energy efficiency and making Earth Day a photocopier-free day.
